Robert J. Czymbor

Czymbor, Robert J. Hemlock, Michigan Mr. Czymbor passed away Sunday May 2, 2010 at Brian's House in Bay City after a courageous battle with cancer, age 68. The son of the late Leo & Leona (Parkin) Czymbor, he was born October 14, 1941 in Saginaw. Robert worked for Consumers Energy for 37 years, retiring in 2001. Robert married Carol (Peil) Wingeier on October 14, 1998 in Las Vegas, NV and she survives him along with a daughter, Karin (Alex) Todd of Hemlock; two step-sons, Mark (Amy) Wingeier and Mike (Stacie) Wingeier both of Bay City; his grandchildren, Kyle, Kaitlin, Katarina and Kaleb Keel, Kayla and Alex Todd, Madeleine, Samuel, Isaiah, Yanina, Uliana, Mia, Adam and Justin Wingeier; a brother, Leo (Jan) Czymbor of Saginaw; a sister, Phyllis (Zenon) Cardenas of Ionia; his mother-in-law, Minnie Peil of Bay City; and two brothers-in-law, Paul (Judy) Peil and Tom (Nancy) Peil both of Bay City. Robert enjoyed many camping trips with Carol and his beloved dog, 'Opie'. He especially loved gardening and hunting and fishing and enjoyed his horses, especially 'The Redeemer'. The family of Robert would like to thank Dr. Paul Kocheril and staff and Dr. John Bartnik and staff and also Brian's House in Bay City for their kindness and special care. The funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday May 5, 2010 at the Gephart Funeral Home, 201 W. Midland St., Bay City. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schaewe. Private inurnment will be in Green Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 5:00 & 7:00 to 9:00pm and on Wednesday from 10:00am until time of service.
