Robert Paul Faust Passed away peacefully Monday, May 13, 2019 at his home. Age 87 years. The son of the late Paul and Bertha Faust was born September, 12, 1931 in Owendale, Michigan. Mr. Faust was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. He retired from Huron County Road Commission. He was a member of L.F.A. Mr. Faust loved to read and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Jane Ann Dorothy; Daughter, Angie Marie; Son, Troy (Megan) Kuch and Trisha Kuch; eight grandchildren, Ashley and Stephen Rockefeller, Emily and Abby Kuch, Kennedy Ryan, Adrian, Zachary and Riley Kuch; three sisters, Jeanette McDonald, Jeannine Ziehm and Peggy (Dan) Kelly. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Barbara Werth, Elwood McDonald and Duane Ziehm. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice caregivers for their wonderful care.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, followed by military honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schaewe with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present to receive family and friends at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Robert will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
