Robert Henderson

Henderson, Robert of Bay City, Michigan passed away early Wednesday morning February 29, 2012 at her residence. Age 85 years. He was born August 28, 1926 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, retired from Graphic Metals in 1992 and served with the United States Army in the Philippians and Japan. On October 24, 1964 he married the former Arlene (Casey ) Kesemeyer in Zion Lutheran Church and she survives his passing along with one sister; Esther Pembroke of Sebring, FL two sisters-in-law; and three brothers-in-law; Viola Skrzypczak, Ardith and Eugene Biskupski, Art Kesemeyer and Warren Kolb and his nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters-in-law. Funeral and Committal Service will take place Friday March 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. John W. Wernecke with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.. Mr. Henderson will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 12:00 noon and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Zion Lutheran Church General Deficit Fund or Visiting Nurse Services - Hospice will be available at the funeral home.
