Robert A. Hendrick, Sr.

Mr. Robert A. Hendrick, Sr., of Fairgrove, MI, passed away on Sunday evening, February 1, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region, age 77. The son of the late Charles and Julia (McCormick) Hendrick, Sr., he was born on June 27, 1937 in St. Clair, MI. Bob was retired and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Hendrick is survived by his six children, Sheri Hendrick-Cornes, Robert A. Hendrick, Jr., Robin (Jeff) Will, Spring (Terry) Coleman, Dawn (Roland) Rivard and Chris (Ashley) Hendrick; his significant other, Carrol Rivard; his 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren that were truly his life; a sister-in-law, Helen Ann Hendrick; and five nieces and their spouses. Besides his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by his wife, Barb Hendrick in 2010; and his brother, Charles Hendrick in 2008. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Richard Lawther. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
