Robert James Lucas

Lucas, Robert James Bay City, Michigan Mr. Lucas passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at his residence. Age 53 years. Robert was born April 1, 1962 in Bay City, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy, enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandson. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, pig roasting, woodworking and spending time in Florida where his cremains will be placed in the ocean. Mr. Lucas is survived his wife of 30 years, Jody L. (Rugenstein) Lucas; two children, Josie and Raini Lucas; one grandson, Sonny Blue; mother and father, Ron and Pat Lucas; step father, Lew Beson; brothers and sisters, Shawn (Kymberlee) Lucas, William (Rebecca) Lucas, Katrina Novak, Jennifer Beson, Chewy Novak, James A. Rugenstein and Donald Rugenstein; nieces and nephews, Joe, Bryanna, Victoria, Trinity, Dustyn, Conner, Olivia, Donny, Kaylee and Aebel. Robert was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Billie Beson. At the request of Mr. Lucas cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the home of Lew Beson, 1000 E. Florence St., Bay City, MI 48706.
