Mrs. Hegenauer passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Huron Woods Nursing Center. Age 77 years. The daughter of the late Basil and Marguerite (Sharp) Robinson was born December 5, 1937. Mrs. Hegenauer was retired from Sears in the credit department, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening and was a faithful Detroit Tigers fan. Mrs. Hegenauer also enjoyed boating and spending time at the Bay Harbor Marina. Mrs. Hegenauer is survived by two daughters, Jamie (Larry) Van Wert of Auburn and Tori (Stan) Liss of Bay City; five grandchildren, Sarah (Nathan) Barras, Ryan (Jordanne) Van Wert, Eric (Carol) Van Wert, Jennifer (Steven) Meyer and Angela Liss and her fiancee Charles Haas; seven great grandchildren, Olivia and Brayden Barras, Jonathan Van Wert, Emily Christian, Jaxen Haas and Noah and Madelyn Meyer; one sister-in-law, Joan Hegenauer and one brother-in-law, John (Joyce) Hegenauer. In addition to her parents Mrs. Hegenauer was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Hegenauer whom she married July 14, 1956 and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2010; and one brother, Robert Robinson. At the request of Mrs. Hegenauer cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Private inurnment will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Save Brian's House will be available at the funeral home.
