Roger F. Kilvington

Kilvington, Roger F. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Kilvington passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 62 years. Roger was born May 8, 1948 in Bay City, Michigan. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, a Vietnam Veteran an avid Michigan State sports fan and enjoyed fly fishing and playing cards. Roger is survived by his wife, the former Patricia A. Maxwell; two children, Paul (Lisa) Kilvington and Heather Kilvington; three step children, Lisa, Lori and Julie Stajkowski; mother, Mary Louise Kilvington; one sister, Debrah (Jim) Ralph; one brother, Charles F. Kilvington; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; five sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Dennis) Carrier, Maureen (Alex) Simmon, Margie Maxwell, Brenda (Steve) Sittler; one brother-in-law, Neil Maxwell. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. Kilvington. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with cremation following. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Kilvington will be taken to the church to lie in state on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Zion Lutheran Church will be available at the funeral home.
