Hebert, Rolan P. of Bay City Michigan passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Carriage House of Bay City. Mrs. Hebert would never confess her age to anyone she just told them that "She is Older Than Dirt". The daughter of the late Ivy and Minnie (Ferrio) Witty was born in Paducah, KY, she was an active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, the League of Catholic Women and Men, the American Red Cross and she spent a good part of her life helping the migrant workers. She was a loving and caring person that enjoyed feeding her neighbors, helping others, bowling and most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; Ronald (Bud) Hebert and his companion; Joanie Farago of Clare (Formerly of Essexville), Fred Hebert and his friend; Phyllis of Fall River, WI, Mary Lee (Keekee) and Mark Fulkersin of Bay City and Sharon and Earl (Lucky) Badour of Clare, one son-in-law; Richard Duso of Mio, her former daughter-in-law; Patty Kellum of La Crosse, WI , former son-in-law; Gary Mueller of Bay City, 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, special nieces and nephews; Robert and Diane Eldred of Nashville, TN and Jim and Norene Anderson of Bay City. She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Hebert, one daughter; JoAnne Duso, one daughter-in-law; Frances Hebert and two grandchildren. The Hebert Family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sutton, Dr. Sweterlitsch and especially the Staff at The Carriage House of Bay City for the kind and compassionate care they extended to their mother. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated Friday March 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Craig Albrecht with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Hebert will lie in state at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. and until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for the Wishes of the Family for a memorial to be established at a later time in Mrs. Hebert's Memory will be available.
