Ronald J. Bladecki

Ronald James Bladecki passed away Friday morning, April 13, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Ron was born on September 15, 1934 to the late Jimmie and Gertrude (Kolasa) Bladecki in Bay City. He married the former Marie Buda on May 5, 1956 at St. Stanislaus Church. Ron was a member of Holy Trinity Church and was employed by the City of Bay City for over 35 years. Ron loved traveling, history, reading, playing blooper ball for Holy Trinity and following the local high school sports teams, especially when his grandchildren played. He was an avid University of Michigan and Detroit Tigers fan and loved nothing more than spending every fall Saturday watching college football.
Ron is survived by his wife, Marie; children, Barbara, Karen (Joseph) Magalski, Michael, and Jill (Andrew) Skrzypczak; his beloved grandchildren, Kristie (Kevin) Lapplander, Michelle (Matthew) Bailey, Steven Magalski, Skyler and Nicole Skrzypczak; great grandchildren, Daisy and Hugo Bailey; sister, Janice (Jerry) Marchlewicz; several sisters and brother-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with private interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Mr. Bladecki will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.
