Ronald Edmund Cooper

Ronald Edmund Cooper, age 74 passed away on August 12, 2014 at McLaren Bay Special Care Hospital in Bay City, Michigan. He was born on March 29, 1940 in Bay City, Michigan. Ron was the loving son of Lawrence Ed and Irma Elverta Day Cooper. Ron loved to fish, with his grandson, Christopher Cooper and granddaughter; Taylor Cooper. He also liked to watch NASCAR Racing with his family and old western movies. Ron served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963. He retired from Sara Lee Bakery in April 2011. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Martha Ann Miller Cooper and his two beloved sons, Kevin Scott (Billiejo Dewyse) Cooper and Scott Allen (Scott's special friend; Tracey Shook) Cooper. Ron also leaves behind his special grandchildren; Matthew Leonard, Elizabeth (Cooper) (Tim) Luepnitz, Christopher Cooper, Taylor Cooper and also great granddaughter; Alexandra Luepnitz. Ron also leaves behind a very special aunt; Rosie Cooke from Grand Rapids, MI and many nieces, nephews. In addition to his parents Ron was also preceded in death by, one sister; Barbara Carso and his brother; Lawrence Cooper. At Ron's request cremation has taken place. A Private Graveside Service with Military Honor's conducted by the Bay County Veteran's Council will take place with the family at Floral Gardens Cemetery.
