Ronald A. Hartz

Ronald passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Bay City Comfort Care at the age of 87 years. He was born in Bay City on August 12, 1932 to the late Arthur and Gladys (Higgins) Hartz. Ron proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married the former Patricia Germain on March 2, 1957 in Bay City. Ron retired as a truck driver after many years and in his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing and boating.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Colleen (David) Betzold and Douglas (Holly) Hartz; grandchildren, Bethany LaFray, Shaun Betzold, Adam Betzold, Dustin Hartz and Kaitlin (Luke) McDaniel; great grandchildren, Hannah, Brendan, Alexis, Maci, Jonah, Luna and Paisley.
Private services will take place with interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to the wishes of the family.
