Ronald John Kline "Ron"

, Ron passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Bay City Comfort Care at the age of 77. He was born on November 3, 1947 to the late Archie and Irene (Olson) Kline in Bay City, Michigan. He was an Army Veteran, stationed in Korea in the DMZ Zone. He was a member of the American Legion and a former member of the Eagles. He retired as a Job Setter from General Motors. Ron was a lifelong U of M fan, loved his dogs and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved going fishing and hunting, he traveled all over the country hunting many different animals.

Ron is survived by his loving partner, Mary Hill; children, Tracey Thie, Carrie (Dan) LeTourneau, Ronald Kline Jr., Troy (Renee) Westphal, Stacy (Ron) Hart, Chris (Kim) Westphal, Jamie (Tim) Williams and Holly (David) Salgado; 25 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Patti (Mark) Helgeson, Lori (Jim) Brunette, Jan Cavanaugh and John (Stacey) Cavanaugh and many close special friends. Ron is preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Sue (Westphal) Kline, who passed in 2013. He is also preceded in death by his father, Archie Kline; mother, Irene Cavanaugh; step-father, Rolland Cavanaugh; twin brother, Robert Kline and sister, Julie Deyardmond.

In honoring the wishes of Ron, cremation has taken place and Military Honors will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at The Fraternal Order of Eagles, performed by the United States Army. A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at The Fraternal Order of Eagles, located at 350 S. River Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
