Ronald Alan Kolb

Mr. Kolb passed away Friday, September 06, 2019 at Horizon Assisted living at the age of 75 years. The son to the late Robert and Pearl (Huntley) Kolb was born November 30, 1943 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Kolb enjoyed fishing, dog sledding,  boating and camping. He was an avid hunter and taxidermist and enjoyed camping at the Outdoor Adventure Camp Grounds. Mr. Kolb retired from Modern Machine Co. He also was the past owner and operated R & N Canvas and several other business's in the area and retired from Monitor Fire Department.

Mr. Kolb is survived by his daughter, Jodie (Richard) Winchell; son, Robin "Rob" Kolb and his special friend; three grandchildren, Westley Winchell, Travis Winchell and Daniel Kolb; great grandson, Brandon Waggoner and brother, Dennis (Nadine) Kolb. In addition to his parents Mr. Kolb is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy E. Kolb. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Horizon Assisted Living in Gladwin, Michigan and Compass Us Hospice Palliative Care.

Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, September 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. James M. Krach with interment to follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
