Marciniak, Ronald L.Bay City, MichiganMr. Marciniak passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at his residence. Age 72. The son of the late Leo F. and Genevieve B. "Jean" (Marchlewicz) Marciniak was born September 9, 1937 in Bay City. He married Judith Buda on October 8, 1960 in Bay City. She preceded him in death on September 29, 2009 after 49 years of marriage.He is survived by his children, Bruce (Connie) Marciniak of Saginaw, Lynn (Ed) Baldwin of Bay City and Brad (Michelle) Marciniak of Bay City, two grandchildren, Brian and Lindsay Marciniak of Saginaw, two sisters, Arlene (Al) Wegener and Diane (Dale) Hunt, his godchildren, Lori Hunt and Scott Buda, several nieces and nephews, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bonnie Buda, Joyce (Mark) Nieschulz, Pam Adcock and Bob (Kathy) Buda. In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Arlene Buda, his niece, Sharon Wegener. He owned and operated Kalmes Plumbing Co. until his retirement. Mr. Marciniak was a master plumber, a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, served as an altar boy at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church for many years, an avid hunter, fisherman, enjoyed archery at the Bay City Bowmen Club, camping, woodworking, yard work, attending family gatherings, spending time with his grandchildren and a Detroit Tigers Fan.Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Bill Waibel with cremation following. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial Envelopes for Wishes of the Family will be available at the funeral home.
