Noble, Ronald Edward "Ron" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Noble passed away peacefully Monday evening June10, 2013 at Bay Medical Care Facility at the age of 78 years. The son of the late Lawrence and Mabel (Duso) Noble was born August 22, 1934 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. Ron was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus # 414, Bishop Murphy Assembly 4th Degree #491, the U.A.W. Local 668, a life member of B.P.O.E. Lodge # 88 and was active with Santa House. He retired from Saginaw Metal Casting- General Motors in 2005 as a stationary engineer, served in the National Guard for twelve years and enjoyed the time he spent camping with his family and friends. On September 24, 1955 he married his loving wife of 57 years the former Maryanne Elizabeth "Babe" Kuerbitz in St. James Catholic Church and she survives his passing. Ron is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Ronald D. and Shelly Noble of Bay City, Michael E. and Kristy Noble of Kawkawlin, one daughter and son-in-law; Lisa M. and Scott Senk of Essexville and daughter-in-law; Mary Margaret (McComb) Noble of Bay City, six cherished grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Layne, Michael and his fiancée, Melissa Collins, and Nicholas Noble, Christine and Joseph Senk, one great grandchild; Harper Noble, three half brothers; Larry, Jerry and Jim, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Gary and Kathleen Kuerbitz and Ronald and Pat Kuerbitz, nieces, nephews and many special friends. The Noble family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and nurses at Bay Medical Care Facility and Hospice Advantage for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Mr. Noble during the time they cared for him. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Ricky M. Varner with private Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. Members of the Knights of Columbus # 414 will conduct a Bible Presentation Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. followed by the Bishop Murphy Assembly # 491 Chalice Presentation. The Vigil for the deceased will take place at 7: 30 p.m. Mr. Noble will be taken to the church on Thursday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for St. Joseph Catholic Church or Hospice Advantage will be available at the funeral home.
