Fahrner, Ronald E. "Ron" Auburn, Michigan Mr. Fahrner passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland, MI. Age 80 years. He was born May 22, 1932 in Pigeon, Michigan. Ron was a member of Auburn United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Carving Club. He was the founder and retired owner of Tri-City Furniture in Auburn and enjoyed fishing, traveling and carving. On November 27, 1950 he married the former Leatha Schearer and she survives his passing along with one son; Ronald Lee Fahrner and one daughter and son-in-law; Kathy and Lee Kilbourn all of Auburn, special daughter; Betty Owen and her husband Ron of Auburn, two grandchildren and their spouses; Chad and Karen Kilbourn of Midland and Krista and Justin Hall of Fuquay-Varina, NC, two great grandchildren; Roxy and Gunner Kilbourn, one brother and two sister-in-law; Jon and Charmaine Fahrner of Cass City and June Reid of Hope, MI, special sister-in-law; Elneda Shady and her husband Dick of Irwin, Idaho, many nieces, nephews and special friends. A Celebration of Life Service will take place Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Auburn United Methodist Church 207 S. Auburn Rd., Auburn, MI 48611. Officiating will be Rev. Duane M. Harris with private inurnment in New Bay Port Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.. The family will be present at the church on Thursday to receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. For those planning an expression of sympathy the family ask that you consider a memorial to Midland Christian School.
