Ron passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 after 7 months from complications of surgery at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital in Saginaw. He was born in Saginaw, MI on April 26, 1942 to Danford and Grace (Trim) Streeter. Ron retired from General Motors-Saginaw Steering Gear and was employed by Car Quest for 9 years. He enjoyed refurbishing pinball machines, antique juke boxes and collected Cocoa-Cola items. Ron served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Crisis. He is survived by his wife the former Connie Lawrence Starr whom he married on July 6, 2001. Also surviving are his two identical twin sons; Ronald (Patti) Streeter of Zebulon, NC and Rodney (Laurie) Streeter of Gladwin, MI and one step son; Todd Lawrence Starr (Sherri) of Bay City, MI, three grandchildren; Jacklyn, Lucas and Ashleigh, three step grandchildren, one brother; Dick (Nancy) Streeter of Chesaning, MI, several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. In addition to his parents Ron was also preceded in death by one sister; Blanche Kutsch, three brothers; Donald, Bion and Timothy. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Debbie Thomas followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Private interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin, MI. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
