Rose Marie Rahn

Rose Marie passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 86 years. Rose Marie was born on July 31, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to the late William and Estelle (Wilezynski) Hurrt. She married Albert Rahn Jr. on August 5, 1950 and spent 60 years together until he passed away on August 26, 2010. Rose Marie worked for many years at Vescios, Rays Food Market and Besons Meat Market She was a member of St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church for over 30 years and was a part of the Ladies Aide. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, doing word searches, crafting with beads and being with her family.

Rose Marie is survived by her children, Diane Swincicki, Dennis Rahn and Dale (Renee) Rahn; grandchildren, Jason (Kristie) Swincicki, Amy Swincicki, Austin Rahn and John David Butler; great granddaughters, Miranda and Kaylee Swincicki; sisters-in-law, Joann and Rosemary Rahn; brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Doris Rahn; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Mark Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Pam Rahn; sister, Shirley Kinsley and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Seafert with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
