Remington, Rose of Bay City, Michigan passed away Monday morning April 9, 2012 at Campau A.F.C. with her loving granddaughter Renee at her side. Age 93 years. She was born April 29 1918 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. She attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, was a member of B.A.R.S.P. and M.A.R.S.P., retired from Bay City Public School System as the Food Service Director. She enjoyed loved traveling the United States with her husband and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Remington is survived by one daughter; Ruth Corrion, one son; Richard Remington, two grandchildren; Renee and Sean Dyer and Robert Corrion, two great grandchildren; Jayson and Megan, three great great grandchildren; Liliauna, Leah and Cail, one brother; Eugene Bojanowski, and many nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Remington on February 7, 1996. She was also preceded in death by one great grandson; Aaron, her parents; Joseph and Constance (Gorski) Bojanowski, four brothers and three sisters. The family would like to thank McLaren Hospice and Brian's house for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Rose during her illness. A Memorial Service will take place Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Craig L. Albrecht and St. Mary Epple, RSM with private inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. At the request of Mrs. Remington cremation has taken place. The family will be present at the funeral home on Friday to receive family and friends from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m..
