Rosemary "Toots" Hair

Hair, Rosemary "Toots" (Dorey) Essexville, Michigan Rosemary made her journey with the Good Lord on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 after loosing her bout to cancer. Age 69 years. She was born July 16, 1943 in Bay City, Michigan. Rosemary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She spent most of her life at home raising her family so her husband could work and later retire from Essexville DPW. She was always there for us no matter what and went above and beyond her means to help us in any way she possibly could. Best known as "Toots" Rosemary was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed being with her family and going to the casino. Rosemary is survived by her five children: Dawn (Mike) Esseltine, Sally (Jim "Beano) West, LeRoy Jr. Shoop (Kelly) Hair, Kelly Moszyk and Lisa Walraven, nineteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren , her best friend from childhood (partner in crime) Barb Priest. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband: LeRoy Sr. Hair of 52 years, parents: Chester and Ethyl Dorey, sister; Marlene Jeske, brothers: Robert "Bob" Dorey, Richard "Dick" Dorey and her angel Wayno Dorey. Rosemary was a one of a kind lady with one crazy personality and original sense of humor. She is truly gonna be missed but will forever live in our hearts and remembered for all the good in hers. A Memorial Liturgy will take place Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (6124 Pine St. Essexville, MI 48732). The celebrant will be Fr. Ricky M. Varner. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
