Roy J. Gottleber

Gottleber, Roy J. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Gottleber passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Bay Special Care Hospital. Age 90 years. The son of the late Albert and Bertha (Beyer) Gottleber was born October 7, 1920 in Bay City, Michigan. He was retired from Jennison Hardware Company. He served with the U.S. Army Medical Battalion 95th Infantry Division during W.W.II and was a member of American Legion Post #18. He is survived by his wife the former Camilla M. Cox whom he married October 5, 1943. Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law; Michael and Lois Gottleber of Bay City, two grandchildren and their spouses; Amy and Chad Krager of Bay City, MI and Jeffrey and Erin Gottleber of Allendale, MI, three great grandchildren; Ethan Gottleber, Alexander Gottleber and Mason Krager. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one son; Jeffrey Gottleber, four sisters and two brothers; Matilda Heitzig, Dorothy White, Linda Walters, Lucille Krause, Herbert and Emil Gottleber. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council to conclude the visitation. Memorial Cards for the American Cancer Society or Aleda E. Lutz V.A. Medical Center will be available at the funeral home.
