Rabideau, Roy C. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Rabideau passed away Tuesday evening October 23, 2012 at his residence with his family at his side. Age 87 years. He was born February 14, 1925 in Bay City and has resided her all of his life. Roy was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and had retired from Schaeffer Chevrolet as the general service manager. He served with the United States Army during WW II and the Korean Conflict and was a member of the D.A.V. in Saginaw, Michigan. On April 4, 1953 he married his wife of fifty nine years the former Lornetta L. Kussro in Bay City and she survives his passing along with five children and their spouses; Dennis and Jean Blue, Roger Blue, Roxana and Eugene Stevens, Rick and Joanne Rabideau and Christine Paahao, fifteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, one brother-in-law; Elmer Kussro. He was preceded in death by one daughter; Sharon Blue, one son-in-law; Kepa Paahao, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will take place Friday October 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel C. Meckes. The Committal Service and Military Honors will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m.. Mr. Rabideau will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for Faith Lutheran Church or McLaren Visiting Nurse Services and Hospice will be available at the funeral home.
