Ruth C. Dillon

Ruth C. Dillon Portsmouth Township Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Dillon passed away peacefully Sunday morning November 10, 2013 at Bay Medical Care Facility at the age of 88 years. She was born July 19, 1925 in Au Gres, MI and has resided in Bay County for many years. Ruth had a passion for flowers, gardening and will be remembered by her family and friends for her fantastic cooking. She is survived by one son Arthur P. Dillon of Los Alamos, New Mexico, two sisters-in-law; Annette Svoke of Battle Creek and Jane Coffin of East Tawas, numerous nieces and nephews, a special niece; Kathie Colone of Bay City, and a special lifelong friend; Lois Perry of Saginaw. On March 29, 2006 she was preceded in death by her husband; Arthur F. Dillon, her parents; Philip and Margaret (Baum) Heinreich and her brothers and a sister. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday, November 14, 2013 to receive family and friends from 2;00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Private interment will take place in the American Legion Cemetery in East Tawas.
