Ruth A. Hine

Ruth E. Hine Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Hine passed away Monday afternoon May 11, 2015 at Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center. Age of 78 years. The daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel (Kerr) Grauerr was born January 24, 1937 in Rogers City, Michigan and has resided in Bay City most of her life. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish and a former member of St. Maria Goretti Church. Ruth had a great love for painting, drawing and most of all she enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Left behind to cherish Ruth's memories are two sons; Patrick Hine and Robert Hine, one daughter; Debra Brown, one daughter-in-law; Patricia Jarvis all of Bay City, seven grandchildren, twenty four grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law; William and Eleanor Grauerr, one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law; Fred and Marilyn Hine, Barbara Hine and Doris Chamberlin and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Roy J. Hine and one son; Gerald Hine. A Memorial Mass and Rite of Committal will be celebrated Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Parish - St. Maria Goretti Church 2872 N Euclid Ave, Bay City, MI 48706. Rev. Fr. John S. Sarge and Sr. Virginia Scally, SNDdeN will officiate over the Funeral Rites with private Inurnment in Elm Lawn Park Cemetery. The family will be present at the church on Tuesday to receive visitors from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of Mass.
