Ruth E. Kuhnke

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Aunt Ruth. She was a feisty, energetic, loving, caring aunt, sister, and friend. She traveled the world and took my mom, Margaret, with her. She made many friends while working at the bank. They lasted forever, and were from many different countries. She took great care of my mom and ate dinner with us every Sunday. My dad made sure her driveway was cleared and her lawn was mowed. She needed very little assistance until the last few years. She was care for with love by her many close friends including Doug and Loraine Stindt, Lori and Sydney Davis, Chris Zamenski, and other friends who checked in on her from St. Joh's Ev. Lutheran Church. She outlived all five of her siblings-Alice, Margaret, Doris, Virginia, and Edwin. She is survived by nephew James (Anita) Scheddel and his children Michael, Samantha (Maxx), Margaret, and Michelle, niece by a prior marriage Sue Scheddel, and niece Jeanne (Daniel Berenson) Scheddel. There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday, May 6 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.
