Ruth "Sally" E. Parmenter

Our loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully early Thursday morning August 4, 2016 at her residence. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Russell A. and Elemena (LaCombe) Allen was born November 16, 1924 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life.
Left behind to cherish her memories are her children; Dr. Thomas (Roselyn) Parmenter of Ann Arbor and James (Dr. Denise) Parmenter of Traverse City/Cape Coral, FL, Christine (Edwin) Weber of Bay City, Hugh (Geri Kalt) Parmenter of Riverside, CA, one sister-in-law; Anna Teresia Allen of Lago Vista, TX and one aunt; Sally Allen of Winnebago, IL. She will be sadly missed by her five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; James Parmenter, one son; Danny, her brothers; Ted (Dorothy) Allen, Russell L. (Frances) Allen and her sisters; Margaret (John) Gaa, Marian (Joe) Pasko and June (Ed) Vallender.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Sunday evening, August 7, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with private interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
