Ruth O. Satkowiak

Ruth passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Independence Village at the age 95 years. Ruth was born in Bay City on September 12, 1924 to the late Joseph and Olga (Hoepke) Schwall. In September of 1946 she married Floyd Satkowiak and spent 51 years together until his passing in August of 1998. Ruth was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Saginaw and the Red Hats Society. She was also a line dancer with the High Steppers.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Barbara Cameron; son, William (Dian) Satkowiak; grandchildren, Kymberly (Chris) Stepp, Christopher (Jean) Cameron, Ashley (Nate) Thomas, Rachel Ayres and Megan (Tim) Moody; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
