Ryan M. Michalski

Mr. Ryan Michael Michalski, of Bay City, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at his residence, age 32. He was born on September 16, 1982 in Bay City. Ryan attended Bay City Central High School and was currently the kitchen manager at O'Hare's Bar. He enjoyed all sports, especially disc golf, softball and basketball. Ryan loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and his dogs. Ryan is survived by his fiance, Jessica Merchant; his mother and stepfather, Rebecca (Dave) Tucker of Bay City; his sisters, Gina (James) Weiss of Bay City, Theresa (Brian) Gallagher of Arizona and Lynnette Michalski (Jerrod Horan) of Bay City; his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Jenna, William, Nicholas, Piper and Katherine; a grandmother, Katheryn Wood; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ryan was preceded in death by his father, Michael J. Michalski; and four grandparents, James and Rita Michalski; Jesse Odell and Donald Weston. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Dale A. Orlik. Private interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
