Sally I. LaPan

Sally I. LaPan, of Bay City, passed away Tuesday night April 17, 2012 at the home of her daughter, age 72. The daughter of the late Keith & Irene (Hartley) Macey, she was born July 24, 1939 in Bay City. Sally was retired from the dietary department at Bay Medical Center. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren at her cabin. Sally is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Larry) Garcia of Bay City; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Hewitt of Michigan; her grandchildren, Wesley (Roxann) Pacholka, Tara (Brian Lee) Pacholka, Michael Garcia, Jason (Michelle) Hewitt, Jennifer Hewitt and Tiffany Hewitt; and her great-grandchildren, Jordan and Lucas Pacholka, Bronson Pacholka, Gage Deyarmond and Camden Garcia. Besides her parents, Sally was also preceded in death by her two sons, Keith Hewitt and Baby Albert Hewitt. Sally's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Tiffany from McLaren Hospice for the special care she provided. At the request of Sally, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. For those who so desire, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice.
