Sandra Harrington

Mrs. Sandra Harrington, of Bay City, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at her residence, age 75. The daughter of the late Reginald and Alice (Darke) Delve, she was born on July 21, 1940 in England. On January 13, 1961 Sandra married James "Rick" Harrington in England. In 1968 they moved to Clare, MI and then in 1984 settled in Bay City. Together they loved to travel the world and have visited nearly every continent.
Sandra is survived by her husband, James "Rick" Harrington; their children, Sarah (Blane) Schumacher of Clare and John (Kelli) Harrington of Bay City; five grandchildren, Jessica (Jordan) Dewey, Justin Schumacher, Evan Schumacher, Amanda (Nick) Thompson and Nathan Harrington; four great-grandchildren; her brother, Haydn (Sonja) Delve; and three sisters, Eileen Matthews, Jean Howell and Beverly (Allan) Webster.
Sandra's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of McLaren Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion given to both Sandra and the family.
It was Sandra's desire for cremation to take place. Visitation will take place Friday, July 1, 2016 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.
