Sandra Mary Musial

Sandra passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Huron Woods Nursing Home at the age of 84. The daughter of the late Joseph and Frieda (Herman) Snable was born June 2, 1939 in Bay City, Michigan. Sandra worked for Consumers Energy for 43 years and was very active in the Kawkawlin Community Church and her card club.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Casimer “Scrap” Musial, whom she married on June 11, 1960; three children, Cathy (Dave) Marsh, Kelly (Dale) Johnson and Michael (Angela) Musial; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Linda (Richard) Stevens; one brother, Doug (Janet) Snable and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Smith and her brother-in-law, Kenneth Smith.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Huron Woods Nursing Home for the compassion and care that they gave to Sandy.

A memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Kawkawlin Community Church. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Morris. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Kawkawlin Community Church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions for the Kawkawlin Community Church and the Alzheimer’s Foundation will be available at the church.
