Sandra Ann Parks

Sandra passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 77 years. She was born in Bay City on September 9, 1941 to the late Thomas and Louise (Conaghan) Jackson. On July 2, 1960 she married Franklin J. Parks and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2015. She was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church and worked in the Deli/Café at Kmart on Euclid Avenue for fifteen years. In her spare time she enjoyed BINGO, video games, crocheting and was a seamstress.
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Debra (Rick) Grochowski, Teri (David) Bruning and Bobbi (Charles) Hudson; grandchildren, Steven Machulis, Jessica Machulis, Heather Grochowski, Tyler Machulis, Samantha Wickman and Michael Kocsis; fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Thomas Jackson.
At the request of Mrs. Parks cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Nancy Mayhew. Friends may visit at the church on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
