Peplinski, Sandra Jean "Sandy"

Sandy passed away on Tuesday October 24, 2017 after a 22 year battle with lung disease. Sandy was born July 18, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to Hazel (Walton) and the late William Morrison. She graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1963. Sandy married the love of her life Kenneth Peplinski on July 30, 1965. Sandy and Ken enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Together they had one daughter, Marlo Leveling. Sandy was a Lab & X-Ray Technician early in her career. After that she was co-owner along with her sister, Karen (Morrison) Bernthal of Career Uniforms for thirty five years. Sandy was a legend in her family. Affectionately referred to as the "queen". Sandy loved her flower gardens, canning tomatoes, trips to Las Vegas and Florida as well as attending all events for her three grandsons. "Go Bobcats"!
Sandy's intelligence and advice was valued by family and friends. However, she would not take any crap. Sandy always had the answers in life and televised "Jeopardy", sometimes right, sometimes wrong, "Long live Queen, Sandy"
Sandy leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 52 years, Kenneth; her devoted daughter Marlo, her handsome three grandsons, Logan and Caleb Pijaszek and Brushor Leveling, her mother, Marie Morrison, sister, Karen (Jim) Bernthal, brothers, Terry (Cheryl) Morrison, Bill (Jackie) Morrison, sister-in-law, Marlene Peplinski, Pat (Mike) Cathcart, Jim (Lorraine) Peplinski, special niece, Jill VanDriessche, and many other loved nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her father; William C. Morrison, a brother-in-law, Edward Cathcart and nephews Army 1st Class Sgt. Michael A. Cathcart, and Patrick Brennan.
At the request of Sandy cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish- St. Hyacinth Church at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Richard M. Fillary. The family will be present at the church on Tuesday to receive family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass.
