Harding, Sandra Kay "Sam" (Stubbs) Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Harding passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Covenant Health Care -Cooper in Saginaw, Michigan following a brief illness. Age 67 years. She was born May 1, 1943 in Coshocton, Ohio and resided in Bay City for many years. She was a member of Center Road Church of Christ in Saginaw and dedicated many hours of her time organizing the Tender Loving Care Food Bank. Sandy was also a member of the White Pine Embroidery Guild and the Saginaw Valley Bead Society and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Bradford Harold and Mary Harding, one daughter; Crystal Little and her fiancée Donald Huggard, five grandchildren; Drew and Brandon Harding and Benjamin, Alexander and Ethan Little, her mother; Marjorie (Bucklew) Stubbs, two sisters and one brother-in-law; Susan Stubbs and Carol and Barry Reminder, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Sandy and Tim Moore, four nieces; Lecia, Jodi, Beth and Laura, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. On April 16, 1965 she married Carrel Harding and he preceded her in death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her father; Jack Stubbs and her twin sons; Matthew and Michael in 1973. A Celebration of Her Life will take place Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 12:00 O'Clock Noon at Center Road Church of Christ 1325 North Center Road, Saginaw, MI 48638 (Between Gratiot and State St.). Officiating will be Minister James Sanderson. At the request of Mrs. Harding she has donated her body to the Anatomical Donations Program at the University of Michigan Medical School and there will be no visitation at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. The family will be present at the church on Saturday to receive family and friends from 11:00 a.m. and until the time of services. In lieu of flowers the family ask that if you are considering an expression of sympathy you would consider a memorial to the Center Road Church of Christ Tender Loving Care Food Bank where Sandy was the driving force for the past years.
