Sandra Thorne

Sandra Louette (Lou) Thorne, 57, died December 2, 2017, at her home with her friends and family by her side in Bay City, Michigan. Lou was born January 27, 1960, in Norfolk Virginia to Sandra Frances (Krueger) and James Robert Futch.
Lou will be deeply missed for the love, advice and mentorship she gave to her friends and family. She was artistic and logical with the ability to paint a beautiful picture and balance the books. Lou was an avid gardener spending her summers growing an impressive vegetable garden. She canned and preserved her harvest which she generously shared with her friends and family. Lou was known for her keen wit and sense of humor.
Lou is survived by her nephews Jacob M. Futch and Jimmy Futch, and her nieces Samantha S. (Futch) Weygandt, Dawn Costello and Cindy Futch.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Archie E Thorne, Mother Sandra F. (Krueger) Hoffman, Father James R Futch, Sr., Brothers James R. Futch Jr. and Robert M. Futch.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, at 2:30pm, December 5, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bay City. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell. The service will be followed by a luncheon at the home of her sister-in-law, Sally.
