Saundra NULL Reitzel

REITZEL, (Birdsall) Saundra Kay "Sandy" of Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Reitzel passed away Friday, January 22, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 68 years. The daughter of the late Clare K. and Thelma R. (Young) Birdsall was born April 16, 1941 in Caro, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Reitzel who she married October 29, 1960. Mrs. Reitzel was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She worked at Financial Edge Credit Union as a loan officer until her retirement in 2006, enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grand-daughters. She is survived by one daughter; Julie Reitzel, one son and daughter-in-law; David and Susan Reitzel all of Bay City, three granddaughters; Breanne Kay Reitzel, Shelby Taylor Antoinette Reitzel and Emily Autumn Reitzel, her brother and sister-in-law; LeRoy and Camille Birdsall, special cousins; Keith and Nancy Birdsall, several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Andrew and Grace Schlicker. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to the Doctors and Staff of Bay Regional Medical Center for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during her illness. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 12:00 o'clock Noon at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Schramm with private interment following in Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove, MI. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial Cards for Wishes of the Family will be available at the funeral home.
