Sharon Kay Burns

Sharon passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 70 years. Sharon was born on February 7, 1948 in Bay City to the late Robert and Evelyn (Carle) Burns. She worked as a cashier for many years at Arlans Department Store and later worked and retired after 25 years as a manager at Sunoco Euclid Express Stop. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, going to the casino, playing BINGO and traveling.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Robert Jr. (Gloria) Burns; sister, Ann Burns; nieces, Kimberly (Jeff) Nylund, Julie (Rick) DeCaire and Janice (Trent) Worden; great nieces and nephews, Reid, Cole, Peri and Shea Worden, Brandon, Megan and Katelyn Nylund, Riley and Ryker DeCaire.
Funeral and committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
