Sharon M. Keit

Sharon M. Keit, of Hemlock, passed away suddenly Thursday August 12, 2010 at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, age 63. The daughter of the late Michael & Anna (Gerulski) Pitt, she was born June 16, 1947 in Bay City. Sharon was retired from Macy's Dept. Store in Saginaw. Sharon is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roger P. Keit; two children, Darcey (Joe) Kramer of Saginaw and Todd (Catherine) Keit of Midland; grandchildren, Kari & Scott Proux, Jennifer Moulton, Kyle Bolger, Ellie Bolger, Taylor Keit, Colin Keit and Ava Keit; a brother, Rev. Mr. Richard (Maureen) Pitt of Hudsonville; a sister, Debbie (Conrad) Hanczewski of Prudenville; her mother-in-law, Irene 'Boots' Keit; brothers and sisters-in-law, Martin & Char Keit, Mary Ann & Tom Corbett, Rosalie Wescott, Eddie & Sherry Keit, Rob & Debbie Keit and Barbara & David Nelson; and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Pitt, and sisters, Marilyn Haley, Rita Cieslinski. Family connection was important to Sharon. She worked at this with frequent phoning and visiting. She was the color and vibrancy of this family, full of fun, making living an adventure! She also was very creative, knowing how to make beauty out of simplicity and generously sharing this with others. Special thanks to Dr. Kamil Sadjadpour, her friend and physician for over 30 years, for his excellent care and compassion. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00am on Tuesday August 17, 2010 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 1504 S. Kiesel St. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Richard E. Jozwiak. Private interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Fisherville. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 & 7:00 to 9:00pm. The Vigil for the Deceased, led by Sharon's brother, Rev. Mr. Richard Pitt will begin at 7:00pm. Mrs. Keit will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 9:00am until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
