Sharon passed away early Friday morning, November 17, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 72 years. The daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Sharpsteen) Pegg was born in Bay City, Michigan. She worked as a Home Interior Director for many years before her retirement. Sharon enjoyed traveling, feeding the birds and squirrels but most of all she enjoyed being a loving mother to her children and grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish her memories are her husband Thomas A. Lind whom she married February 28, 1974; six children, Scott (Kathy) Gwizdala, Steve Carpenter, Todd Carpenter, Christina " Tina" Billette (Kevin Rosebrock), Anice (Kurt) Lawrence, Shannon (Nick) Bosco; ten grandchildren, Brandon and Brooke Gwizdala, Courtney and Kaylynn Carpenter, Brett and Kasey Lawrence, Jacob and Joshua Billette, Sheridan and Austin Gielda; six great grandchildren; her sister, Judy (Dale) Boughner, her brother, Jim (Jan) Pegg.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 12:00 o'clock Noon until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
