Shirley A. English

Mrs. English passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at her residence in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Age 87 years. Shirley was born in Bay Port, Michigan on August 18, 1929 to the late Victor and Mary (Boesch) Henne. Shirley was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She worked for many years at Sussman drug store and was involved with Daughters of Isabella, VFW Ladies Auxillary and K of C Ladies Auxillary. Mrs. English is survived by her three children, Rand Joseph (Patricia) English, Brent Arthur (Kathy) English and Colleen Mary Burton; six grandchildren, Nikolas, Emily and Leila Burton and Blake, Bryce and Brooke English; one sister Ila Lorentz. In addition to her her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Rand E. English; one daughter Leila English; two sisters Etta (William) Miller, Lucille (Alex) Wasik; brother-in-law, Norman Lorentz. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with Mary Ann Helie officiating. Private interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
