Shirley B. Troxell, of Mellen, Wisconsin, formerly of Bay City. On March 26, 2011, in Ashland Wisconsin, at the age of 76, the Lord called Shirley's name, reached out his hand and took her home with him. Although you are going to be greatly missed, we know that you are at peace. You had a warm heart but it was tired. Shirley was born on May 12, 1934 in Bay City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Champine, Virginia & William Hadd, also a granddaughter, Jennalyn Troxell, two brothers and two sisters. She left behind her daughters, Janice and Bethany of Mellen, WI, her pets, Max, Pugsley, and Willie. She also left a special cousin, Darlene Jacaobs, Plus special friends, Liz Carmichael, Tom McCormick, Laura Egon, Laura Hoyt and many more. Shirley belonged to St. Albans Church where she was a member of the Friendship Circle. She was an avid card player, bingo player and enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. However, best of all she enjoyed watching the wildlife from the dining room table. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at St. Albans Episcopal Church Bay City at 11:00 a.m. where she will be laid to rest with her granddaughter. Officiating will be The Rev. William W. Boli. The family will great friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial cards for wishes of the family will be available.
