Shirley A. Wright

Mrs. Wright passed away on July 2, 2017 at Huron Woods Nursing Home. Age 74 years. The daughter of the late Henry and Katherine (Wackerle) Meylan was born on October 13, 1942 in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Shirley married Gary Wright on October 1, 1960 and were married for 56 years. Shirley was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, knitting and kept an immaculate home. Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Lynette (Greg) Munsel; two grandchildren, Carissa (Allan) TerBush and Erin Munsel; two great grandsons, Luke and Caleb TerBush; brothers and sisters, Eileen Groeschen, Henry (Billie) Meylan, Gene (Carol) Meylan, Dale Meylan, Cindy (Jim) Sochacki; sister-in-law Marilyn Meylan. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dick and Gary Meylan; sister Fern Shannon; brothers-in-law, Jacque Groeschen and Bill Shannon; sisters-in-law Sue and Donna Meylan; mothers Eunice and Helen Meylan. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church. Officiating will be the clergy of the church with Committal following in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
