Shirley Ann Yochum

Shirley passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Henry Ford Health System at the age of 78 years. Shirley was born on January 1, 1941 in Marion, Ohio to the late J. Howard and Bertha (Dulaney) Berridge. She was employed at Prestolite in Bay City for ten years and was treasurer at Smith Manor for many years. Shirley was also a member of the American Legion Post #18 Auxiliary and in her spare time enjoyed playing BINGO. Most of all Shirley loved her family and friends.
Shirley is survived by her significant other of 30 years, Ronald Paul Gerard; children, Kimberly (Don) Robarge, Jeffery Godsey and Karla Malone; grandchildren, Richard Poole, Kassi Pagliughi, Shane Robarge, Kevin Godsey, Chad and Brandin Scheurs; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Earl and Paul Berridge. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandson, Korey Scheurs; two brothers, John and Virgil and sister, Glenna.
Funeral and committal service will take place on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
