Stanley L. Sanders II

Stanley passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at his residence. Age 47 years. He was born September 7, 1967. He was employed by the City of Bay City working in the Electric Dept. Stanley enjoyed Mustangs, woodworking, golfing, mechanics, he was certified Arborist and enjoyed tree climbing. He enjoyed playing pool on the VNEA Pool League. Left behind to cherish Stanley's memories are his wife the former Christine L. Metevia whom he married July 20, 1991, his children; Stanley III, Samantha and Jacob Sanders, his grandson; Dayvean "D", his mother; Patricia (Ted) Saladine, his sisters and brother; Cindy Bowen, Brenda Sanders, Patricia (Earl) Martindale and Floyd (Lynn) Sanders, his mother-in-law and father-in-law; James and Marilyn Metevia, his brother-in-law; James Metevia, his sister-in-law; Susan Frasik. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley Sanders and his grandparents; Mary Ann and Elbert Jones. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Mary Ann Helie with cremation following. The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday to receive family and friends from 2:00 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
