Stanton DeWayne Hampton

Stanton DeWayne Hampton 37, of Bay City Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13th 2020. He was born on August 25th, 1982 to Robert Smith and Rebecca Hampton. Stanton is survived by His father Robert Smith, his mother Rebecca Hampton (Moochie Wison); brothers and sisters Travis Hampton (Monique Keinath), Laura Hampton, Davene (Darius) Thompson, Chantal and Justin Smith; nieces Madison, Mia, and Malaya Hampton; nephews JaMarkus Keinath and Aiden Johnston; aunts and uncles Germayne Harris (Carlos Kennedy), Paula Hampton, Paula (Darren) Lomax, Brandon Carradine, Paul Carradine, Fred Wicks; step father Bob Gray. He is predeceased by his Grandparents Paul (Connie) Carradine, Eli Smith, Lois Miller. Stan (the man) was the life of the party, was always down to have a drink and enjoyed making everyone around him laugh even if he was the bud of the joke! His laugh was contagious. He loved his family and close friends and you could feel it when he walked in the room. He loved his music, He carried a speaker with him wherever he went, and he could find something to play for every situation life threw at him. He had the biggest heart, and would give a stranger the shirt off his back, and his Family everything! He was the protector and Jack of all trades. Always there when he was needed. Stanton had his share of hardships in life but you would never know it, he wore his heart on his sleeve and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A private funeral service has been held. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
