Stella June (Dubay) Behmlander

Stella June Behmlander (Dubay) Stafford, Arizona Stella June Duby-Behmlander, 82, passed into the arms of Jesus at the Haven of Safford, Monday evening on October 26, 2015. She was born to John and Lillian Duby on July 12, 1933, in Saginaw, MI. They lived in the Saginaw-Bay City, MI, area until 1981, where they were members of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She and Butch moved to Safford, AZ, where they lived out the remaining of their lives. Stella, a farmer's daughter, enjoyed traveling, quilting, and playing cards and board games. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Safford. She is survived by: her sister, Gladys L. Moritz; her son, Randy Behmlander; her daughter, Lori Morris; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Lorren (Butch) Behmlander, whom she married in 1954, and enjoyed 58 years of marriage. Stella was also preceded in death by: her son, Timothy Mark Behmlander; and her siblings, Ann, Lois, Wesley and Harvey. Funeral Services are being planned in Arizona and will be announced at a later time. She will be laid to rest in St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust next to her beloved husband and son.
