Steve J. Perry

Steve passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 29, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. He was born September 25, 1968 in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland Airforce Base. Steve was a member of Community of Christ Church. He retired from Kroger's on Euclid. Steve enjoyed tinkering with cars, working outside, enjoyed fishing and listening to music. He was an avid fan of U of M, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and the Detroit Red Wings. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife the former Barbara E. Donaldson whom he married July 27, 2007, one daughter, Renee Perry; his father, Jerome Perry; two sisters, Christin (Roy) Perry-Michalik and Melissa (Ray) Dean-Long; one uncle, Thomas Perry; two aunts, Kathryn (Thomas) Budd and Suzanne (Jerry) Meyer; two brothers-in-law, Harold (Lori) Donaldson and Clarence (Dena) Donaldson; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie (Topa) Perry and his granparents.At the request of Steve cremation has taken place. A  Memorial Service will take place Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Community of Christ Church. Officiating will be Elder Donald Nielson and Elder Clarence Pease with private inurnment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
