Suzette passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region with her husband and daughter by her side at the age of 75. She was born on October 25, 1946 in Saginaw to the late Estella Yeager. On September 12, 1964, she married Tom Lenhart and they were married for 57 years. In her early years, Suzette was a Brownie and Cub Scout Leader, taught pre-school and religion. She volunteered for Delta College channel 19 auction and the American Cancer Society. She loved to play bingo with her husband at the casino, play cards, read, play games on her iPad and go to lunch with her friends. She loved going to the cabin on Houghton Lake with the whole family every summer and anytime she could get everyone together including fish fries. Most of all she loved and lived for her family and grandchildren and loved them more than she could ever express.
Suzette is survived by her husband, Tom; daughter, Trisha (Matt) Hartt; son, Steven (Tammy) Lenhart; grandchildren, Ahyra Hartt, Burke (Brianna Redmond) and Bregan Lenhart; sisters-in-law, Joann (Ralph) Gerzeski and Barbara Lier; brother-in-law, Jerry (Mary) Lenhart and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her step-father, Chester Yeager; brother, Joseph Spiess; sister, Barbara (John) Gey; step-sister, Joan (Richard) Shevchenko; niece, Carol Gey; sister-in-law, Shirley (Wayne) Savage; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Alice Lenhart.
Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with cremation to follow.
