Terrance H. "Terry" Pennell Sr.

Terry passed away early Wednesday morning December 10, 2014 at his residence. Age 77 years. The son of the late Hamilton and Clara Pennell was born March 23, 1937 in Bay City, MI. He worked for many years as an antique dealer and was one of the first in Bay City. Terry was an avid antique collector, loved spending time with his children, was a coach and mentor to many youths and a loyal friend to many. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps. Left to cherish his memory are his children; Mary A. (Kuch) Pennell who he married December 20, 1967, his children; Norman (Lisa) Pennell, Mark (Sharon) Pennell, Terrance Pennell Jr., Candace Pennell, Daniel (Amanda) Pennell, Robert Pennell, Michael Pennell, Sarah (Fred Van Haaren) Pennell and Adam Pennell, eighteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his sisters and brother; Mary (Gene) Niezwiecki, Tim (Lois) Pennell, Penny Nuechterlein, brother-in-law; Gary Bishop, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded death by his sisters; his twin, Sharon Bishop and Beverly (Carl) Doan, one brother-in-law; Ronald Nuechterlein. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Doug Lewis followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council and the U.S. Marine Corps. The family will be present at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
