On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, Thelma Jean Staudacher (Reed) passed through the door that took her to her forever home. She was born September 4, 1932 to John and Clara (Heisner) Reed in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in Vanderbilt, Michigan where she met and married her husband, Virgil Staudacher on September 18, 1948. They moved to Bay City, raised their family, and lived there for the remainder of their lives. Virgil preceded her home on September 11, 1986.
She leaves her legacy to her children, Virgil Jr., Tom (Ann), Pat (Dave) Maxim and Clara (Kevin) Kuch, her grandchildren, Amy Norton, Virgil Staudacher III, John (Michelle) Norton Jr., Charity Ann Staudacher, Rebecca (Chad) Maes, Lance Kuch, Brittany Kuch, Alex (Wendy) Staudacher and Troy (Amber) Staudacher, and her twelve great grandchildren. She is being welcomed by Virgil, her brothers and sisters, her parents and all who went before her. Thelma's message to you "God Bless You"
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Bay Medical Care Facility for their compassion and care that they gave to Thelma over the years.
At the request of Mrs. Staudacher cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Susan C. Rich. Those planning and expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
